Free pattern for Mouse Note Keeper


MOUSE NOTE KEEPER

MATERIALS: 4-ply yarn-smal amount gray and yellow: Polyester fiberfill: scrap black felt: two 7mm. Wigly eyes; mouse trap; three 3” piece heavy black thread; glue; G hook.

Finished Size 1 ½” high.

BODY:
Rnd1: With gray, ch4, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 1, 8 sc in ring, join with sl st in first sc (8)
Rnd 2: Ch1,2 sc in each st around, join as before (16).
Rnds 3-5: Ch1, sc in each st around, join.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, (sc next 2 sts tog, sc in next st) 5 times, sc in last st, join (11).
Rnd 7: Repeat rnd 3. Stuff
Rnd 8: Ch1, (sc next 2 sts tog, sc in next st) 3 times, sc last 2 ts tog, join (7).
Rnd 9: Repeat rnd 3. Stuff
Rnd 10: Ch1, (sc next 2 sts tog) 3 times, sc in last st, join (4). Leaving 6” for weaving, fasten off. Weave end through last rnd, pull tight. Secure.

FINISHING:
For the first ear, with last rnd in body facing you, join gray with sl st in any ston rnd 7, * ch 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, slst in same st as first slst. Fasten off *. Skip next 2 sts on rnd 7. Join gray with sl st in next st; repeat between * for second ear.

For tail, join gray with sl st inc enter of rnd 1 on body, ch 12. Fasten off.

For Whiskers, cover thread with glue to stiffen; glue thread centered on pointed-end of body. For nose, from blac felt, cut ¼” circle, glue thread centered of whiskers. Glue eyes in place.

CHEESE:
Row 1: With yellow, ch3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, turn (2).
Row 2: Ch1, sc in each st across. Fasten off.


Glue mouse and cheese to mouse trap!

Are you aware that what you are doing is against the law? The patterns you are selling on Etsy are copyrighted and belong to publishers such as Annie's Attic, The Needlecraft Shop and others.
When caught, you will find yourself in some hefty legal trouble. I say WHEN, not IF, because these publishers are active in hunting for infringing sellers and sharing sites.

Thanks for sharing pattern.I haven't seen this pattern anywhere else. I think I know the pattern G is talking about and I don't think its the same one.I wish you have a picture.It's so much easier when I can see if I am doing the pattern right.
